I am a Sydney-born painter whose practice sits in figurative expressionism. After a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the City Art Institute in Sydney, I completed a Masters degree at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, supported by a Karl Hofer Scholarship. My life and studio have moved across cultural borders; Berlin, Melbourne, and now the United Kingdom and that sense of place and people continues to shape how I paint.

Music, literature and opera librettos are constant companions in my work. I’m drawn to vivid pigment and gestural mark-making to explore memory, theatre and the human presence, sometimes tender and embryonic, sometimes confronting and direct. Over the years I’ve exhibited in Germany, England, Austria, Denmark, New York and Australia, along with regular representation at International Art Fairs.

Painting, for me, is both score and stage: a place where colour, rhythm and narrative can meet. Each canvas is built through layers - oil, sometimes mixed media - until image and emotion find their balance. I invite viewers to enter that space, to linger with the gestures and silences, and to let their own stories surface within the painted field.
